During the 2021 NCAA Softball season, I decided to execute a Marketing Plan that was strictly digital. With the COVID-19 global pandemic limiting our in-person fan engagement efforts we continued to brainstorm ways to keep fans engaged. As a result, we planned/scheduled/produced a higher rate of social media content. While impressions were important, we wanted to make sure fans engaged with our pieces, in addition to viewing them. As a result, Maryland Softball was ranked third in the nation in weighted engagements, according to a report by Athletic Director U in 2021
